Deer Park is a subsection of the Town of Babylon in the pine barrens of Suffolk County, New York. It began out of settlement established by Jacob Conklin in 1610. The Long Island Railroad came into play in the 1800’s and the area flourished as a farming and agricultural area. World War two changed that, however, as the boom reached Deer Park and industry came knocking at their door. A brick company and pickle works started the trend but was soon followed by an engine and airplane manufacturing company. It is a place also known for the Edgewood State Psychiatric Hospital, which began as a tuberculosis sanitarium, and Army Hospital During WWII. Another part of the Town of Babylon, it has a total area of 6.2 square miles. With a population of approximately 28,000, it has a population density of 4,500 people per square mile. Marwin has been to my house one other time and I was glad to see him the other day. He is so knowledgeable, thorough, and proactive. He did not rush through our tuneup whatsoever. Terrible experience with Michele customer service. Called in October for burner cleaning. Was told by her I needed to be on call only. Called Dec. 7th. Was told I still was on call only and I was not due to be cleaned till End of January. I called October the year before and the only appointment I could get was January. I never had a problem with Home Energy getting an appointment. I don’t understand way it is so difficult getting a cleaning appointment. Michele finally talked to service and I was told they can come the next day. This is terrible customer service.

They encountered many problems with getting vents to our first floor from the attic thru the second floor but they came up with alternatives every time and walked us thru all of our choices.
