Credit & Customer Service Representative
Hart Home Comfort is looking for an experienced, motivated Credit & Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
In this customer-facing role, you’ll help customers with billing questions, fuel orders and service requests, while also supporting accounts receivable and collections. We’re looking for someone who can handle a busy phone environment, communicate clearly and professionally, and work through account issues with care and confidence.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable management, or related financial roles involving debt collection negotiation.
- Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong verbal communication skills to effectively manage client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Handle high volume phone calls – assist customers with placing fuel orders & service calls, as well as general billing questions
- Manage collections accounts with a focus on billing, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances through effective negotiation strategies.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette to address client inquiries and resolve account issues.
- Conduct detailed account analysis using Excel data analysis skills to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for recovery or improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, payments, and account statuses within accounting software and financial databases.
Education
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
