Hart Home Comfort is proud to give back to the Long Island community through our ongoing partnership with Long Island Cares.
From our specially marked fuel delivery truck to our annual Thanksgiving food drive, we’re committed to supporting local families and helping fight hunger across Long Island.
Long Island Cares
At Hart Home Comfort, giving back to Long Island is part of who we are. We are proud to continue supporting Long Island Cares through our specially marked fuel delivery truck, which contributes 1 cent for every gallon delivered.
Since 2019, this program has helped Hart Home Comfort donate more than $40,000 to Long Island Cares and support its mission to help families across Long Island.
We also participate in the Annual Long Island Cares Thanksgiving Food Drive, helping collect essential food items for local families in need. Over the years, this effort has helped provide more than 43,000 meals to struggling Long Islanders.
How You Can Help
You can support this effort by donating directly to Long Island Cares or by dropping off food donations at one of our office locations.
Together, we can continue helping Long Island families and make this year’s food drive one of the most successful yet.
Food Items Needed
We are seeking the following items to help provide maximum benefit to food drive recipients:
- Canned Vegetables, including corn, carrots, mixed vegetables, and green beans
- Canned Fruit, including applesauce, mixed fruit, and pineapple
- Boxed Stuffing
- Instant Mashed Potato Mix
- Cans or Packets of Gravy
